On October 2nd, we hosted the eighth talk of the @IndeedEng speaker series in our Austin office. Indeed product manager Tom Bergman and software engineer Matt Schemmel presented “Managing Experiments and Behavior Dynamically with Proctor,” describing Indeed’s Java-based system for defining and managing our many A/B experiments. They also proudly announced that we have made Proctor available open source (github.com/indeedeng/proctor). At the end of the talk, engineering director Jack Humphrey gave a demo of Proctor with audience participation.
